Smooth Check-in

The Keio Plaza Hotel is pleased to announce the introduction of a streamlined check-in system using the dedicated app ‘NEC Smooth Check-in’ for smartphones and tablets.

You can register on the 'NEC Smooth Check-In' app up to three days prior to your arrival date. You will need your reservation number issued at the time of booking to successfully complete the registration process.

Simply follow these steps:

  1. After making your hotel reservation, download the 'NEC Smooth Check-in' app.
  2. Register the required personal information in the app.
    Link your registered information and existing hotel reservation by entering the reservation number in the app.
  3. Upon arrival at the hotel, check in at one of the self-check-in tablets in the lobby by choosing either 'Facial Recognition' or 'QR Code'.
  4. Settle your bill, if you have not already paid in advance.
  5. Create your room keycard(s) at the kiosk.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees will apply according to our hotel policy:

  1. No penalty for a cancellation received up to 3 days prior to accommodation
  2. 50% penalty on the first night stay for a cancellation received 2 days prior to accommodation
  3. 80% penalty on the first night stay for a cancellation received 1 day prior to accommodation
  4. 100% penalty on the first night stay for a cancellation received on the day of accommodation
  5. 100% penalty for no show

*Please note that the above cancellation policy applies to individual bookings made directly to the hotel. There are different cancellation policies for group bookings, corporate bookings, bookings made via travel agencies and through the internet.

Deposit Policy and ID Requirements

We ask our guests to make an incidental deposit of the total arrangements by cash or credit card at the time of check-in. The amount will be returned or balanced out at the time of check-out.
As required by law, the hotel must copy guests' passports at the time of check-in.
