TOKYO -The Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo(KPH), one of Japan's most prestigious international hotels located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, renovated its guest lounge located on the uppermost floor of our South Tower for use by all of our overnight guests, and renamed it the “Luxe Lounge – THE PLACE”. This renovated lounge reopened in January, 2022 and was expanded in March, 2022 as a relaxing space where the growing number of guests seeking to escape the confines of their homes amidst the new normal of working from home sparked by the COVID-19 outbreak are welcome to hang out.
Our “Luxe Lounge - THE PLACE” has been renovated with the themes of “soothing” and “communication” in mind to create a relaxing space for our guests. In keeping with these themes, “THE PLACE” has been furnished with green colored displays, rugs and hammocks to simulate the comforting natural environment of a forest. Furthermore, we became the first hotel in Tokyo to use “We Proudly Serve Starbucks™” program fully automated espresso machines in our lounge. Guests can enjoy sipping complimentary cups of delicious cafe latte, cappuccino, and other coffee-based drinks made from the same coffee beans used by Starbucks Coffee stores. Combined with the fabulous panoramic views of the Tokyo skyline visible from the 34th floor where “THE PLACE” is situated, guests can relax and unwind while enjoying pleasant conversations over delicious coffees with their friends and family.

2）Keio Plaza Hotel Is the First Hotel to Use Starbucks Coffee Automated Espresso Machines
“THE PLACE” is also equipped with “We Proudly Serve Starbucks™” program fully automated espresso machines to provide guests with complimentary cups of delicious café lattes, cappuccinos and other coffee-based beverages made from the same coffee beans used by Starbucks Coffee stores.
