Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo Hosts Special “Nabe”
Japanese Hot Pot Food Fair at Five Hotel Restaurants

TOKYO - Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo (KPH), one of Japan’s most prestigious international hotels located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, hosts a special “Nabe” Japanese Hot Pot Food Fair to help warm guests during the cold winter months. Five of our hotel restaurants serve various unique “Nabe” menus during this fair from January 6 (Saturday) to February 28 (Wednesday), 2018.

Our Korean Dining “Gokoku-Tei” Restaurant serves three types of hot pots including two “jjigae” Korean hot pots (Doenjang Jjigae, Yukgaejang) using chili peppers and a simple “white sundubu” hot pot that does not use chili peppers. In addition, a mild “takanmari” soup based dish using a whole chicken served with six different condiment sauces (Including 1) chojang, 2) yangnyeom jang, 3) garlic, 4) French mustard, 5) soy sauce and 6) vinegar) are also available. Guests can choose to finish their meals with an optional choice of either noodle or “barley rice” as their final dish.

In addition to the regular menu items of shabu-shabu and sukiyaki served at our Japanese Cuisine “Kagari” Restaurant, a hot pot made from scallops, shrimp, white fish, radish, carrots, shiitake mushrooms and other ingredients stewed in Japanese bonito “dashi” soup stock served to guests in a “Nabu Tekki” iron pot is also available as a special menu item. As an optional last dish, Japanese “udon” noodles can be selected.

Our All Day Dining “Jurin” Restaurant prepares a “crab based cream seafood hot pot,” which is served with a choice of rice, pasta or risotto made from hot pot soup lastly. At our Super Buffet “Glass Court” Restaurant, two types of hot pots, including a soup curry and an “Ishikari Nabe” seafood based hot pots, originating from the Hokkaido region of Japan are served along with some 70 other types of foods.
