Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo Hosts "Strawberry Dessert Buffet"
-The Best Season of Strawberry is Coming!

TOKYO -The Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo(KPH), one of Japan’s most prestigious international hotels located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, will host a special dessert buffet entitled “Strawberry Dessert Buffet – Berry Lovely Pink” at its All Day Dining Restaurant “Jurin”, located on the second floor of our Hotel, from January 7 (Tuesday), 2020. This buffet will feature “chocolate gateau” cake made from 100% Valrhona chocolate which is a French premium manufacturer loved and selected by many pastry chefs, and other delectable desserts created from a harmonious marriage of rich chocolates and fresh strawberries. Our young and upcoming patissiers will also create a variety of delicious and highly photogenic desserts to be showcased in this buffet.

Beautiful pink colored whipped cream coated chocolate baumkuchen cakes adorned and filled with fresh strawberries created by our patissiers provide striking color contrasts when cut and make for photogenic subjects for our guests. Also, shortcakes glamorously layered with delicious whipped cream will also be served. Another popular classic dessert, fresh strawberry tarts, will also be available for the enjoyment of our guests. Custard made from traditional recipes using vanilla beans from Madagascar and highlighted by vibrant red strawberries are yet another entry of our buffet.

The All Day Dining Restaurant “Jurin” will create a special corner as part of the dessert buffet where guests can design their own customized desserts using delicious strawberries.

The dessert buffet will serve about 30 different desserts and savory foods, with special efforts made to create desserts adorned with various toppings that are not only delicious to eat, but also beautiful in appearance. In addition to desserts, our buffet will also provide guests with other snacks and foods including sandwiches, soups and a corner where guests can make their own salad, making this buffet a perfect place for a late lunch.
