Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo Offers Special Sweets and Menu Items themed
“Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” Collaborating with British Fabrics

 TOKYO - Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo (KPH), one of Japan’s most prestigious international hotels located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, will host dessert buffets serving various desserts created in the image of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, the popular novel written by Lewis Carroll, at multiple restaurant and lounge facilities from October 1 (Monday) to December 31 (Monday), 2018. To commemorate the fourth year that this event is being held, specially designed ornaments using “British fabrics” will be used to recreate the ambience of the United Kingdom and to appeal to a wide range of female customers interested in “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”.

A special “Alice’s Magical Buffet” will be held for a limited time during the months of October and November at our Super Buffet “Glass Court” Restaurant using elegant and romantic “Nina Campbell’s” tartan and paisley design decorations. “The Queen and King’s Hors-d’oeuvres”, “Mysterious Scottish Eggs of Humpty Dumpty” and other special British foods will be prepared in the image of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by our Executive Chef. In addition, live cooking performances will be conducted by our chefs in “Glass Court’s” open kitchen, including freshly cooked sliced roast beef, parmigiano reggiano pasta and a total of 70 different menu items. The photo shooting spots will be set-up so that customers can take commemorative pictures.

Thirty different beautiful and delectable desserts will be served in a special dessert buffet entitled “Alice’s Dessert Buffet” to be held at our All Day Dining Restaurant “Jurin”. Also, the interiors of our restaurant will be decorated using colorful fabrics made by “Osborne & Little”, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary since its establishment, to help recreate the ambience of Britain.

Our “Cocktail and Tea Lounge” will serve a total of 54 delicious cocktails to match the number of playing cards, which are represented as characters in the novel and prepare classical “Morris & Co.” table settings. Also, our Sky Lounge “Aurora”, located on the 45th floor and offering panoramic views of Tokyo from 160 meters above ground level, will offer “afternoon tea” services with “ROMO” interior decorations for the enjoyment of our customers during the months of November and December. In addition, our Hotel offers special wedding plans in the theme of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” due to the strong demand for these plans last year.
