TOKYO - Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo (KPH), one of Japan’s most prestigious international hotels located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, will serve special dessert buffet, lunch and dinner buffet, and other special dining plans for female and afternoon tea based upon the theme of the famous French fairy tale “Beauty and the Beast”, written by the French novelist Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont. This special event will be held between April 1 (Sunday) and June 30 (Saturday), 2018 at four of our Hotel dining facilities. As part of this event, specially prepared flower arrangements using roses and other flowers will be displayed in the restaurant corridor on the second floor, along with three dimensional shadow box art also using roses for the enjoyment of our guests and as places for them to take commemorative pictures.
The Super Buffet “Glass Court” Restaurant will serve specially prepared foods befitting classical French aristocrat dinner parties. Also, a special exhibition of rose art prepared by flower artist Miyou will be displayed for guests to enjoy and to take pictures. In addition, Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo’s patissiers will create about 30 different desserts based upon the image of the main character “Princess Bell”, which are not only delicious to eat but also photogenic for guests to use in social media posts, to be served at the All Day Dining “Jurin” Restaurant dessert buffet. Furthermore, our French and Italian Cuisine “Duo Fourchettes” Restaurant will offer special meal plans created in the image of “Beauty and the Beast” for groups of female guests, and the entrance area will be decorated with “flower wall art” created by Emi Hashimoto. Moreover, our Sky Lounge “Aurora” located on the 45th floor of our Hotel will serve the afternoon tea set menu created in the image of “Beauty and the Beast” and decorated using flowers of the month.

Based upon “Beauty and the Beast”, 50 different shadow box art items, three dimensional art that leverages perspective to create the effect of shadows, will be displayed.
