Tokyo Tower

At 333 meters tall, Tokyo Tower is among the city’s best-know sightseeing spots. Built as a radio tower for broadcasting and telecommunication in 1958, the tower features observation decks that provide and excellent view of city.
The main deck, 150 meters above the ground, makes for a clear view of every major building in Tokyo. From the higher deck, Mt. Fuji is visible in clear weather. After sunset, the tower from the outside is beautiful. There is an urban legend known as “Tokyo Tower lights down,” which holds that a couple that watches the lights of the tower go off together at midnight will enjoy eternal happiness. Many couples can be seen waiting to experience the moment of magic.
To visit the tower, take the Toei Oedo Subway Line at the Tochomae station, which is very close to the hotel. After 15 minutes, get off at Akabane-bashi and walk 5 minutes. Please feel free to ask Guest Relations for more information.
