The three-day Halloween Festival — a 15-year tradition in Tama — kicks off with the illumination ceremony on the evening of Friday, October 27, where you can see the south side of Tama Center Station light up. Highlights of the festival include the Jack O’Lantern night display, costume parades, trick or treating, and dances and concerts on the main stage, as well as a flea market, play area for kids, and special events organized by participating universities. Food stalls will be catering to the more than 4,000 visitors expected to attend over the weekend. Hello Kitty and other favorite characters also will be on hand to welcome everyone to this grand community celebration of Halloween.
