Portable Charger Safety Notice

There have been incidents of portable chargers producing smoke or catching fire in Japan and abroad. For the safety and comfort of all guests, we kindly ask you to observe the following precautions when using portable chargers in guest rooms.

Please keep your portable charger with you and take responsibility for its safekeeping.
When a portable charger is charging or being used to charge another device, please keep the portable charger within sight and check it regularly.
Please do not leave a portable charger charging in your room when you are not in the room.
When charging a portable charger or using it to charge other devices, please do not place the devices in direct sunlight or on flammable items such as beds or bedding.
Please do not use a portable charger that is damaged, swollen, or unusually hot.

During your stay, if housekeeping observes any of the above, for safety reasons, staff may unplug the device and relocate it to a safe location. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
