Keio Plaza Hotel hosts Japanese Chopsticks Exhibition - as Part of Gift Giving Tradition in the Art Lobby. A form of art and an integral part of Japanese culture, this exhibition showcases an array of traditional lacquered chopsticks from various parts of Japan that are well-known for their works, such as “wakasanuri”, “wajimanuri” and “tsugarunuri”. For those interested in bringing a piece of Japan home with you, there will also be a beautiful selection of chopsticks available for purchase.
Guests who stay at the Club Floor “Premier Grand” and eat Japanese breakfasts (Limited to 10 meals per day, reservations required) at the Club Lounge will be presented with one set of commemorative “wakasanuri” lacquered chopsticks.
