Dear valued members

The Keio Plaza Hotel group would like to express our profound appreciation for your loyalty and the trust you place in us as a travel partner. In response to government recommendations to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we have temporarily closed most common areas (excluding guest rooms, restrooms and convenience stores). Additionally, customer services have been curtailed. These changes affect our Shinjuku (TOKYO), Tama, Hachioji and Sapporo hotels and may limit your stay with us. We recognize the growing uncertainty caused by COVID-19 around the world and to reflect this, the following changes will be made to the PLAZA THANKS Points loyalty program.


We will extend the expiration date of all points scheduled to expire between April 30th and September 30th, 2020 by a year. We will also make an announcement soon regarding points schedule to expire on October 1st, 2020 onwards. Our loyalty program is important to show our appreciation and kindly ensure that your points are fully redeemed or utilized prior to the expiration date.

Status Policy

To achieve or maintain Prime or Royal member status the annual total usage is 100,000 or 300,000 yen , respectively. In the light of current circumstances, we will add extra points to accounts by the end of April, 2020. The amount of extra points is 8% of the basic annual usage to achieve/maintain status, i.e., Bloom members will receive 8,334 yen and Prime or Royal members will receive 25,000 yen. Your membership status will be determined in June based on these calculations. If the state of emergency continues after May, 2020 we plan to offer similar adjustments for members.
