We hereby notify you that we will revise part of the Executive Card Membership Terms & Conditions as follows.
<Contents of change to Executive Card Membership Terms & Conditions>
A second clause shall be added to Article 8 of the Executive Card Membership Terms & Conditions as follows.
8. Provision of Plaza THANKS program
(2) Usage through agencies, purchase of merchandise gift certificates (Keio Plaza Checks), accommodation vouchers and restaurant gift certificates, and usage for excluded products, such as special event products, or at excluded facilities shall be excluded from the usage amount in the preceding clause*. The most up-to-date information with respect to details will be published on the Keio Plaza Hotel WEB site, etc.
Revision date April 1, 2017
*The usage amount in the preceding clause means the Member’s total usage amount (excluding taxes) during a one (1) year period that is included in the Standard Amount of the level.
The reason for this revision is as follows.
We revised the Membership Terms & Conditions and Plaza THANKS Program Usage Guide (hereinafter referred to as the "Usage Guide") on October 1, 2015. At that time, we added a provision in the Usage Guide to the effect that the types of usage described in the clause above would be excluded from earning points. We should have added a provision stating that there are types of usage that are excluded for determining the Level in the Membership Terms & Conditions, as described in the Usage Guide. However, as a result of our error this was omitted in the Membership Terms & Conditions. Therefore, we are now revising the Membership Terms & Conditions and adding the types of usage that are excluded for determining the Level.
