Becoming a Hotel that Ensures Satisfaction for Every Visitor

Long before "barrier-free" became a common household phrase, Keio Plaza Hotel began making gradual changes so that all its guests and visitors, including the physically challenged, could enjoy its many facilities in comfort and safety.
Suggestions from many of our staff, who wanted to "allow visitors in wheelchairs to use our guest rooms fully without feeling restricted" and to "make it possible for those with impaired hearing or vision to enjoy our facilities safely," led to the addition of 15 "universal" rooms and the establishment of a "Sign Language" circle.
The many initiatives undertaken by Keio Plaza Hotel on behalf of barrier-free operation extend beyond persons with disabilities. The Ladies Relaxation Plan, for example, is designed to let those who care for others relax and enjoy their stay at our hotel. In addition, we offer other services and facilities that give guests with small children a way to stay with us--and dine with us--in maximum comfort.
Keio Plaza Hotel continues to refine itself, and redefine itself, by incorporating input from guests and employees alike. In this way we are becoming a truly "barrier-free" hotel.
